Who are we?
The Legonardo team, from Giarre’s high school “Leonardo”, is made up of 10 willing teens who just want to be able to demonstrate their skills.

The robot build
The construction of the robots focused on the integration of:
1.
Interchangeable arms, with a quick and effective interlocking system. This allow us to replace them without losing time, a fundamental to complete as many mission as we possibly can
2.
The use of arms that aren’t too articulated, but multifunctional. We can use the same arm for multiple mission. Despite how fastly they can be exchanged, we try to lose as less time as possible.
3.
use of the gyroscope, which, in addition to the low center of gravity and the wide tires, can guarantee linear, fast and precise movements at the same time.
Innovation Project
When we thought about how to innovate the environment around us, we thought about creating a robot that could clean the marine environment in various ways. All of them are explained and listed in the file that can be viewed by clicking on the button below
The project was created in collaboration with the Riposto Naval League, who viewed and approved our project, considering it a useful resource to fight marine pollution.
Our team has the objective of relating and making friends also with people from other teams, for this reason, we have created, through 3D printing, some gifts to give to the other teams as a sign of friendship
